Tom attended Princeton University and the University of Florida College of Law, where he graduated with Honors as a member of the Law Review. Following law school, he clerked for Judge Patricia Fawcett in the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Florida. As a practicing lawyer, Tom has represented a wide range of clients, including defendants, plaintiffs and insurance carriers. He has been involved in a variety of complex cases involving injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, employment, insurance coverage and claims, and business disputes. He is admitted to practice in all State and Federal courts in the State of Florida and has tried cases in Florida State and Federal Courts. He has also litigated in multiple Florida Courts of Appeal. Tom is AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating given for legal ability and ethics, has been named a Florida Super Lawyer since 2012, and has been selected as one of Florida Trend’s Legal Elite on multiple occasions.
